Who We Are
Blue Horizon Construction has been building residential pools and decks since the beginning of 2023. Not only do we serve the area around Frederick, Maryland but we also live in the area and share in the community life. Collectively, we have over thirty years of experience in residential construction and we love working closely with our clients and building lasting relationships.
People often ask where the Blue Horizon name came from. While it certainly ties to outdoor construction and the joy we have in helping people create spaces to enjoy time with friends and family, the name actually was inspired by the landscape around the town of Vik in Iceland. The blend of black sand beaches, nearby glaciers, green grasses, jutting rock outcroppings, and the most brilliant blue sea make it one of the most beautiful places on earth. It seemed like the perfect inspiration for naming a company that seeks to create beauty and get people living outdoors.
